I haven’t been great about posting blogs and I apologize for that. I have been doing my best to live in the moment with my squad and neglected documenting my experience through blogs.

Going out on the field during a pandemic was risky and it was a risk I was willing to take. Sharing Jesus should stop at nothing and that’s how my team and I approached this last leg of our race relaunching in America.

We have had countless COVID scares to the point we are all pretty desensitized to it. The Lord has really been protecting us as we go out and do ministry daily. One of my squamates got COVID recently, so we left our hosts’ house and found an air bnb to quarantine. He had his own room and own bathroom, but at this point we have all been exposed. It wasn’t really a big deal to any of us, but we knew we needed to do our best to stay away from each other and keep everything in the house clean.

We all took a test the next day and we were all negative(except for the one squamate that already has it), Praise God!! Then we got news that two people at our previous ministry tested positive as well, so at this point we have been exposed three times in one week. So, we kept cleaning the house like crazy and our squamate that was positive stayed in his room and didn’t come out so we could limit exposure.

One week later we take another test and another one of my squamates tested positive. So that’s 2 people we live with and 2 outside contacts. We did the necessary cleaning and room assignment to keep everyone safe.

This morning we took our third test and for the first time, all 11 of us tested negative! The Lord is so good. He really was protecting us during this time and showing us deep revelations.

The downside to this is we are ending our race in quarantine. We didn’t go to Houston or Dallas like we were originally scheduled to do, but the Lord has blessed us with an air bnb (yay, no tents!), some sweet neighbors that made us homemade tamales and really intentional alone time with each other before we all separate in a few weeks.

The enemy is going to do anything he can to distract us as we end our race. He doesn’t like what we are doing and is taking stabs at us in anyway possible. But, because he is attacking we know we are doing something right. The enemy is scared because we are about to spread all over the states back to our home and bring Kingdom to our families. Big things are coming for Jesus!

Life is about finding God’s nuggets that He gives us. There are blessings even if the circumstances aren’t what we thought. Living life with open hands means the Lord may take something from our hands, but He replaces it with something that will benefit us in ways we couldn’t imagine. He is a good God and He is faithful!

**Please pray for spiritual attacks that may be coming our way as we transition home.

  1. OH-MY-GOODNESS! This is so good………”The enemy is going to do anything he can to distract us as we end our race. He doesn’t like what we are doing and is taking stabs at us in anyway possible. This reminds me of being on the alert and aware of the divisiveness of the enemy. Yet, I love how you turn the focus to what Jesus can and will do! Yes! He will use each and every one of you!
    Love you Kellie!
