During our time in Colorado we have grown and learned a lot.

The first weekend we got here was the 4th of July weekend so our lovely coaches surprised us with a camping trip to start off the relaunch of our race. This weekend was full of memories and prayer. The thing is, every time B Squad goes camping, it rains the majority of the time. It’s just our destiny at this point haha. Immediately in our flesh, some of us wanted to pack up and go home because tents were getting wet, the temperatures were dropping and all the uncomfortable things that come with camping during storms.

One of our coaches, Dawnette took her concerns and frustrations to the Lord and came back to us. She said that she realized she cared more about the comfort of us than the salvation of non believers and that hit us all. I realized how I was checked out because it wasn’t my ideal comfort situation, I didn’t want everyone to get sick and I just wanted people to have a good time. I was more concerned about my squad having fun than I was spreading the good news. It took some serious heart check and time with the Lord to shake those desires.

How many times do we let comfort control our lives? Just sit with that question for a minute.

Are you willing to step out blindly with the Lord and trust that He is good no matter what? Even if a situation doesn’t go how you expect or how you envision?

Are you willing to stop being the God of your life?

It’s easy to get swept up into worldly thoughts, ideas and desires. But the world will fail you. Jesus won’t.

If you are ready to take next steps and run to the Father, He is waiting and He is ready. He loves you and He knows you by name, let Him in.

**I AM FULLY FUNDED!! The Lord is so good and He provides. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Dang girl. That DOES hit! I pray we keep remembering that as a squad! Loved listening to the perspective shift on this!

    Keep it up love!
