In less than three weeks this crazy adventure will be over…I can’t believe it.

This year was NOTHING like I expected, but it’s been so beautiful to see God’s faithfulness.

From launching in January internationally for what I thought would been 11 months to getting pulled off the field during COVID, to the rough and sudden transition home, to the 2 months of unknown if we were relaunching, to the..”YAY!! We are relaunching in America”, to traveling the states, to the dozens of COVID scares, to being here and ending our race in quarantine due to two squamates catching COVID and so much more.

I really can’t begin to put this year into words. Overall it’s been crazy, amazing, difficult, fun, stretching and endless other things.

I have met SO many amazing people and learned a lot along the way. Part of traveling is learning the different cultures of places and people, even in the US.

I need your help as I transition home in a few weeks. I need grace. Tons and tons of grace. Life on the race is different than life at home is. Luckily I have experienced coming home once and luckily I won’t have culture shock this time since I am already in the states.

However, it will still be difficult and maybe a bit rocky switching seasons.

I have no idea what I am doing when I get back, and that’s okay.

There are a lot of aspects in my life that are different. I will be returning to the same home, but I am a different person. Push me and don’t let me fall into my old ways. If you notice that I do something differently now or I have changed, it’s okay. I have changed quite a bit and that’s to be expected. It’s what happens when you move away from everything you’ve ever known to experience new lifestyles.

So many amazing things have come out of this year and I would love to share stories with you. Know that I won’t be able to affectively answer questions about the race in a short conversation. I would love to sit down and get coffee with you and just share stories and hear about your life too. This year was crazy for everyone, I am sure you’ve changed too!

I have an amazing community of people that happen to be moving to Indy around the time I get home and I have amazing friends and family already there waiting to welcome me home. I am so blessed by you. Thank you for making this trip possible. It has been the most growing experience. It’s surreal that it’s coming to an end and I will need time to process everything that has happened this year and these last few months.

Thank you for supporting me and I love you!

  1. Crap…you’re coming home? I better change your room from my man cave back to your bedroom. I am SO glad I stored your stuff and didn’t throw it away!

Of course we are ready for you. Of course you are loved. Of course you have changed. (haven’t we ALL this year) Of course…God’s got you…just like he has for 11 months…

I love you & look forward to having you back home, safe & sound…
