Quick AnswerBecause God called me to this.

Long Answer:

I get comments and concerns all the time about traveling the world to do missions.

"There are people down the street you can help."

"You just want to travel the world, not help anyone."

"You're going to get kidnapped in another country."

I hear you, but I am here to explain a little better why I am leaving the country to pursue missions.

In the United States there is a church on nearly every corner (which I love, YAY Jesus!!). The United States is among the highest reach people of Christianity. The main goal of missions is the tell people about Jesus and welcome them into the kingdom. In the countries I am going to, some people don't even know who Jesus is, they don't know the Bible and they don't know His love. I am going to share His love with them. This may look differently each day. For example, we may be painting a house to help out an elderly couple and fellowship with them about the Lord. We may be sitting down at a coffee shop with a complete stranger telling them testimonies of how amazing God is! We may help run a Vacation Bible School to reach children and teach them the Gospel. This is also why I can't really explain what we are doing day to day on the field, it's whatever is needed!

"There is no way people don't know who Jesus is, everyone knows about Him."

In the States we find it hard to believe that people do not have access to knowing more about God, but it is true. We are lucky enough to have freedom of religion where some of our brothers and sisters in the nations are not that lucky. Sometimes it is just that they do not have the bible in their language, so they cannot read the Bible. People do not go around freely talking about Jesus Christ on the streets other places. The other day I was driving and I saw a large billboard that just said JESUS. Stuff like that is not allowed in other countries all the time. We have a choice in the United States wether we want to accept Jesus into our lives or not, that is simply what it boils down too. I hope you choose to accept Him with open arms, because He is waiting for you to run to Him.

With all of this being said, missions in the United States is equally as important. S/O to World Race America (F Squad). I am not trying to minimize missions in the States because it is hard work. They do just as much as we do, if not more. It is uncomfortable to minister in your own country sometimes so props to y'all doing it on WRA! I love missions, no matter the shape or size. Any way I can tell people about Jesus, I am so down!

**Welcome to all of my new subscribers!! I appreciate you being here and supporting me on this journey. As always, prayers are appreciated for my squad and I! My next fundraising deadline is December 13 and I need $10,000. I am currently at $7,034 (YAY!!). Any fundraising ideas are welcome and encouraged! Thank you all so much for reading.
